2010 Guardian Award Winner
Russell "Rusty" Schweickart is named Lifeboat Foundation 2010 Guardian
Award Winner.
The Lifeboat Foundation Guardian Award is annually bestowed upon a
respected scientist or public figure who has warned of a future fraught
with dangers and encouraged measures to prevent them.
The 2010 Lifeboat Foundation Guardian Award has been given to Russell
"Rusty" Schweickart in recognition of his efforts for humans to escape
the fate of the dinosaurs. (And thereby prove that we really are smarter
than they were.)
