Lifeboat Foundation SAB Reaches 500 Members
Martine Rothblatt, American lawyer, author, and entrepreneur joins our
Scientific Advisory Board, becoming our 500th member. She joins Ray
Kurzweil, Nobel Laureates Sir Clive W.J. Granger, Eric S. Maskin, and
Wole Soyinka, and many other luminaries, to participate in the Lifeboat
Foundation goal of "Safeguarding Humanity".
The Lifeboat Foundation Scientific Advisory Board is broken up into 27
subboards ranging from Human Trajectories to Particle Physics to Space
Settlement and has developed 24 programs ranging from a BioShield
program to a NanoShield Program to a SecurityPreserver Program. More
information about these programs is available at
http://lifeboat.com/ex/programs.
Martine started United Therapeutics (NASDAQ: UTHR) in 1996 and has
served as Chairman & CEO since its inception. Her company develops
and/or commercializes unique analogs of natural molecules for
cardiopulmonary disorders, novel monoclonal antibodies for certain
cancers, small glycobiologicals for infectious diseases, telemedical
services (including for International Space Station astronauts) and
nutriceuticals. She has many, many, more accomplishments. Learn about
them at http://lifeboat.com/ex/bios.martine.rothblatt
LF International Spokesperson Philippe Van Nedervelde says, "We were
very lucky to get Martine on board with her many accomplishments ranging
from founding United Therapeutics, creating Sirius Satellite Radio, to
launching the Terasem Movement which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
charity endowed for the purpose of educating the public on the
practicality and necessity of greatly extending human life, consistent
with diversity and unity, via geoethical nanotechnology and personal
cyberconsciousness."
NanoShield Fund
We have launched the NanoShield Fund which will be used to turn our
NanoShield program into reality.
While we won't be funding the development of massive utility fog
curtains or orbiting laser platforms in the near future, we can do
something today. Learn more at https://lifeboat.com/ex/nano.shield.fund
