Undoing Aging 2022
Undoing Aging 2020 has become Undoing Aging 2022 and has been moved to
May 26–28, 2022 in Berlin, Germany. Our Tamir Chandra, Ke Cheng, Aubrey
de Grey, João Pedro de Magalhães, Vera Gorbunova, Michael Greve, Adiv A. Johnson, Jamie Justice, Jeanne Loring, and Wenyu Zhou will be
speaking/participating.
Undoing Aging 2022 is not only open to the scientific community, but
also welcomes startups, investors, the general media, and all interested
members of the broader rejuvenation movement. The conference will
feature a student poster session showing the work of innovative
undergraduate and graduate students in the field of damage repair. Learn

Lifeboat Strategy: How to Be a Hero of History

Our human future could be very good or very bad. We might settle the
reachable universe, we might live forever, or we might go extinct. What
we do now might make the difference.
It is hard to steer something as big as humanity, but heroes of history
have done so. The “ship” of humanity has many steering wheels. Enough of
them pointed in the right direction will get the ship to go there. A
really good idea, well explained, well disseminated, and well debugged,
can persuade enough of those who steer to point in the right direction.
Who are heroes of history? Everyone has his favorites. I like Ben
Franklin and Gandhi and Einstein. The Greeks had their share, and so did
the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution. We have even more today.

Heroes of history were able to persuade enough of those who steer to
point in the right direction. Think about how to do this. Think about
how to be careful about where we are steering, so we get it right.
