For retailers, Gyft creates a meaningful new distribution channel by giving brands visibility into the consumers that hold their gift cards. By using Gyft, merchants can drive customer acquisition, increase shopper interaction and drive social engagement.
 
Vinny is a serial entrepreneur focusing on mobile, online marketing, and SaaS business models. Selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Young Global Leader, he has the passion to build Internet based companies. Over the years he has successfully raised over $50M in funding and is an active angel investor.
 
He is very involved in the Silicon Cape Initiative, which aims to build a high-tech cluster in South Africa. Prior to cofounding Gyft, he cofounded Clicks2Customers.com and Yola.com.
