Taras
Kuzin, MBA is CEO at
MedVacation.
MedVacation provides excellence in medical tourism in exotic locations.
While a senior in college, Taras began his professional career with a
medical device company, MED-TEC. During his exciting five-year career
with MED-TEC, Taras’ responsibilities involved marketing and business
development for international markets. He and his team were responsible
for the planning and execution of the international marketing strategy.
Under his leadership, the team developed a global expansion strategy
that increased product placement from 35 countries to 114 and built a
premiere brand in the expanding radiation oncology market outside the
U.S.
To hone his skills, Taras pursued MBA studies at Purdue University,
where he focused on strategy and finance. Upon his graduation from the
MBA program, Taras joined First Data’s Leadership Development Program.
In this internal consultant role, Taras was involved in development and
execution of business and marketing strategies for a billion dollar
division. Furthermore, he is familiar with cross-border valuation
techniques and was involved in M&A projects in Europe.
He continued to assume positions of progressive responsibility and in
2007 joined the Global Product Development Group at Western Union
following its spin-off from First Data. While at Western Union, Taras
was responsible for identifying opportunities in the realm of
microfinance, rudimentary consumer lending, and microinsurance. He and
his team were responsible for developing a number of new products from
market research and ideation to commercialization.
Taras earned his
BA in Marketing & International Business at
Dordt College in 1998. He earned his MBA in Strategy & Finance at
Purdue University — Krannert School of Management in 2005.
