Swapnil Surdi
Swapnil Surdi is an Engineer at the Liquid Propulsion Laboratory (LPL) at the University of Southern California, where he is working as Control Engineer on the Data Acquisition and Feed System and he is pursuing his Master’s in Astronautical Engineering.
As part of a team of 3, Swapnil successfully tested neural network algorithms for 20 sim software, which is mainly used in robotics and simulation.
Previously, he worked as Software Developer at AppRely Technologies in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As a Developer, he worked on Python Tornado, Java, Android, and Web Technologies.
Swapnil studied Computer Science at Sangameshwar College in Solapur, India. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT Pune), India in 2015.
After earning his BEng., Swapnil worked in Quality Assurance at Accenture in India, as a Software Trainee. There he received the Ace Award for critical automation testing that saved more than two months of man-hours. In 2018, he ended his training and left to California, USA.
In 2018, Swapnil went to the University of Southern California, where he is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree of Science in Astronautical Engineering, due in 2020.
