University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and
Cofounder at
Health 2.0 Nottingham.
Robin is a highly experienced European privacy professional with expertise in
information and knowledge risk standards within UK health services, law
enforcement, and telecommunications.
He is futures advisor to emerging digital entrepreneurs and EU projects on
approaches to managing new privacy risks.
Robin founded the Health 2.0 Nottingham think tank in 2014 to explore issues
relating to identity, technology, and prosperity within the UK digital
economy. He is host of the “Emerge” podcast reviewing threats to the digital
society.
He is author of a series of books on privacy threat assessment, the future of
risk, and lean information management.
He coauthored
The Lean Information Management Toolkit.
He is a visiting lecturer at three UK
universities for privacy and information governance modules.
Robin is an editorial board member and columnist for UK publications,
publishing articles relating to emergent healthcare and data privacy issues.
Robin earned his BA in Politics at Loughborough University in 1997. He
earned his MSc in Information Risk Management at Northumbria University
in 2009. He is completing his Ph.D. in Healthcare Leadership and Privacy
Access Rights at The University of Northampton.
