Michael Toron
Michael Toron is an Intelligence Analyst, Counterterrorism Advisor for NYPD (Brooklyn Staten Island 10–13), Secure Member at InfraGard, Manager at TRAC, Range Officer at National Range Officers Institute (NROI), and a Member of the ICTTF.
Mike has been working for more than 20 years at Minuteman Press of Hewlett, specializing in all phases of Law Enforcement, Masonic, & Traditional Business Printing.
Between 2005 and 2010, Mike was the Branch Director and Team Coordinator Program Manager of The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) at Nassau County CERT.
Since 2005, Mike has been the Executive Board Member of the New York State Fraternal Order of Police, Nassau Police Lodge 69. He assisted the last 8 presidents, as well as worked together with the entire Executive Board to further the Mission of the National & State FOP, as well as at the local level with NYS FOP Lodge 69. NYS FOP Lodge 69 is the largest Lodge in New York State with over 1,000 Active Members.
Also in 2005, Mike became a Secure Member at InfraGard. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
In 2008, he was an Advisor for the New York Law Enforcement Expo where he coordinated the attendance of the FBI’s NY Metro InfraGard Program, the New York State Fraternal Order of Police, and other Law Enforcement entities to include Law Enforcement Training, Law Enforcement Meetings, and Law Enforcement Exhibits to the Law Enforcement Community.
Mike became a Counterterrorism Advisor for the New York City Police Department, Brooklyn Staten Island 10–13 in 2008 and has been advising them since. He has been part of the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium since 2011 (TRAC) and is the Owner of the Terrorism Information Group with more than 3,850+ Vetted Global Members, where they share information and sources of information on the spread of terrorism and efforts to stem its growth.
Besides taking part into Counterterrorism, Mike has been actively member of Masonic Lodges. He was the Worshipful Master of Valley Steam Lodge 1143 and is currently a member of Long Island Scottish Rite Masons since 2016.
Mike is an Intelligence Analyst who utilizes Force Multiplication. As an Analyst, he is responsible for the dissemination of timely information to Law Enforcement & other Security Professionals including numerous entities specializing in counter terrorism, emergency response, law enforcement, intelligence, open-source Intelligence (OSINT), active shooters, officer safety, security, disaster preparedness, security and threats that could cause nationwide long-term critical infrastructure collapse, cyber threats, MARSEC (Combating Maritime Piracy), and other related areas.
Mike is and always will be a student. He loves to learn, spending countless hours training to include all relevant to Law Enforcement, Counterterrorism, Emergency Response, etc.
