Meir Moalem, M.A.
Meir Moalem, M.A. is CEO and Managing Director of Sky and Space Global. He is a jet fighter pilot, Lt. Col (Res.) of the IAF, and has over 20 years of experience in management, R&D, and operation of state-of-the-art projects in Space Systems and Unmanned Aerial Systems.
Between 1986 and 1998, Meir was the deputy squadron commander at IAF base and between 1998 and 2011, he was special project manager at UAS, Space and intelligence division, IDF. Meir lead the MEIDEX experiment on Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-107) as the project manager for Israel’s first astronaut flight, managing Israel’s satellite projects (such as Ofeq, Tecsar), and more.
Since 2011, Meir has been acting as CEO of MultiMods, a strategic technology consulting firm for the AeroSpace community. In 2012, he founded the RockCycle Optimization Systems company and in 2015, he founded Sky and Space Global, a UK-incorporated company that is traded in Australia (SAS:ASX) and will deploy nano-satellites constellations in orbit to provide global communication infrastructure.

Meir earned his B.Sc. in Physics and Computer Sciences (with honors) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 1998. He earned his M.A. from the Diplomacy and National Security executive program (with honors) at Tel Aviv University in 2006. Currently he is working on his Ph.D. in national security and space programs at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Meir has also received the 2009 Israel National Defence award.
