TEDx Lleida to speak about drones, curiosity, and the future of technology.
She was previously Senior Project Engineer & Technical Manager for Earth
Observation in the SSW Division of ED Satellite Systems. After that she
become Sales Manager and Assistant to the Corporate Director in DI.
Laura led and contributed to GNC systems for an RPA project and previously
served as Systems Engineer & Technical Support Coordinator at Indra
Espacio Barcelona. During her successful 4.5 year tenure, she worked on
international and national projects pertaining to GNSS — rail, RPAS, and
fleet vehicle control. In this role, she worked with diverse
organizations, such as ESA, INTA, and CDTI. Before that, she worked as
Research Assistant at the Institute of Geomatics with GNSS, INS, and
imaging systems for civilian and military clients.
Her career combines both nonprofit and for-profit positions. She served as
Board Director of the PMI Barcelona Chapter, PMI Aerospace & Defense CoP
Involvement Lead, and volunteers leading training and education
programs.
In addition, since 2003 she has been Board member, Project Manager, and
Program Coordinator for the FEEC and FEDME. Laura is also FEDME
representative at UIAA Standards Commission
and Chair at Seminars Commission.
Laura earned her MSc in Aerospace Science & Technology, Aerospace,
Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain in 2012.
She earned her BSc in Telecommunications Engineering (Electronics)
from La Salle – Ramon Llull University.
