Kit Carson
Kit Carson is the Visionary Founder of Ortum Stellar Eo, a company supporting space exploration and colonization. He is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in composites, thermodynamics, and manufacturing. He is also the President and Principal Engineer at Carson & Associates, providing engineering services to customers in the Aerospace, Rail, Car, and Heavy Machinery Industries.
Ortum Stellar Eo, Latin for “The Rise of Star Travel”, is an engineering and development company focused on the technology used for space exploration, from rocket and engine design to tooling and robotics. They designed the JobBot multifunctional robot for the fabrication of large truss structures on orbit along with the integration and assembly of systems and subsystems supporting spaceflight.

Kit earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University.
In 2003, he began his working career as Engineering Designer for Boeing Company. After two years, Kit decided he wanted to live life on his terms. He founded Carson & Associates and spent several years successfully creating projects for his customers.
He contracted with Spirit AeroSystems in 2007 and, in 2008, with TECT Aerospace as a Tool Designer and Planner.
For a year in 2009, Kit was Research Engineer at Kansas State University, and after that he joined United Technologies, now part of the Raytheon Company, where he was a Manufacturing Engineer for more than 2 years.
In 2013, he Co-Owned the Quality Flow Controls company, where his responsibilities included Engineering, Test, Manufacturing, and logistics.
In 2016, he decided to partner with Roberto Cerini to create Ortum Stellar Eo, an engineering company focused on Space technology.
