During the past 13 years he has worked in the financial industry, as a
developer, analyst, project manager and team leader, including five
years in the General Ledger Office and eight years in the Architecture
and Development Support Office. His experience includes application
architecture development in many different environments: IBM Mainframe,
Windows or UNIX servers, and various technologies: COBOL, .NET, Java, C,
etc. especially in heterogeneous enterprise environments where strong
integration is needed.
His professional interests include operating
systems, especially Linux, databases, programming languages, and mobile
and web development.
Jose earned his
BS in Electronics, Computer Hardware Engineering at
Universidad de Oriente (ISPJAM) in 1991.
