Glenn Bolger

Glenn Bolger is Resolution Manager at Dell and is also a bitcoin miner. Glenn recently installed a Skyhook bitcoin vending machine in a busy cafe in the Dublin city center. The cafe now offers bitcoin as a payment option for its customers.
 
Glenn’s specialities are cryptocurrencies, mining, data centers, hardware, resource management, incident management, relationship management, business planning, rollouts, migrations, and startups.
 
At Dell he was responsible for complex service request resolution, ensuring issues were handled in an efficient, effective, and professional manner to maximize customer satisfaction, often under difficult and challenging circumstances. A large part of his role was to manage communications between customers executive teams and Dell’s internal business units to ensure that correct resources were engaged and aligned to resolve customer’s issues as efficiently as possible.
 
Glenn was previously Business planning and development @ NDRC Accelerator at Digital Demigods, Director at Itero Consultants, Operations Manager at The Wolfe Group Data Centre, Lead Operator at EDS – Xerox, System Administrator at AIG Europe, and Support Engineer and Network Admin at Openet International.
 
Glenn studied Mechanical Engineering at University College Dublin from 2004 to 2006 and completed the course “Introduction to Digital Currencies” at the University of Nicosia in 2014.
