Debra
M. McPhee, Ph.D. is
Chief Operating Officer at LiivMD.
LiivMD is on a mission to help people lead healthier lives. Based on the
understanding that people need more than just knowledge to make

highly effective online solution. It combines engaging, interactive
educational content, personalized assessments, and goal trackers to help

trainer, nutritionist, and health coach all in one.
Debra was previously
Dean, School of Social Work at Barry University.
As chief academic leader of a large free standing school (450
undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students) in a private university, she
was responsible for the overall operations of the planning,
budgeting, recruitment, admissions, marketing, faculty and personnel,
scheduling, curriculum development, instruction, student services,
accreditation, community partnerships, donor relations, and fund
raising.
She has more than 20 years of professional and
executive leadership skill as an educator, researcher, scholar, clinical
practitioner, and former university dean. She has international
professional experience having worked throughout the United States,
Canada, and Europe. Her extensive funded research includes
published work in the areas of international health care policy, welfare
reform, curriculum development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and
higher education.
Debra earned her BA (Honors) in Psychology at Saint Mary’s
University in 1986.
She earned MS in Social Work at the Columbia University in the City
of New York in 1989. She earned her Ph.D. in Social Work at the
University of Toronto in 1996.
