David J. Tamm, M.A.
David J. Tamm, M.A. is
author of
Universal History and the Telos of Human Progress and
is a member of the International Society for the Comparative Study
of Civilizations (ISCSC), and has taught International Relations and
Western Civilization History at the college level, as well as history
courses at the high school level, for eight years.
He is also co-webmaster of the
City of Hudson, Florida website.
Universal History and the Telos of Human Progress
explores the notion of collective social and cultural progress
by investigating how world historians have defined and explained purpose
in life through the ages. In so doing, it aims to answer the general
sense of malaise, meaninglessness, and broken social relationships
endemic to life today in many countries in the Western world and beyond.

David earned his BA in Community Relations /
Political Philosophy (Social Science) with a Minor in History
at Michigan State University in 2001 and his Master’s
at Jagiellonian University, Poland in 2006 with the thesis

through Outer Space Development.
He studied Polish Language and Culture at the
University of Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Lublin, Poland in 2004.
He studied Political Philosophy at the
University of South Florida in 2001 and Politics, Economics, and History
at Budapest University of Economics, Hungary in 1998.
