Professor Darren Tofts
Darren Tofts, Ph.D. is Professor of Media &
Communications, Faculty of Life & Social Sciences, Swinburne University
of Technology, Australia. His research interests include media arts,
cyberculture, critical and cultural theory, and cultural convergence.
Darren is a well-known cultural critic who writes regularly for a range
of national and international publications on issues to do with
cyberculture, new media arts and critical and cultural theory. Formerly
an editorial correspondent for
21C Magazine, he is a member of the editorial boards of
Postmodern Culture, Continuum, The Australian Journal of Media and
Culture, fibreculture journal, Rhizomes, and RealTime, where he is a
commissioning editor for new media arts.
He coedited
