The European Ayurveda Centre (EAC) is an agricultural estate with treatment and research facilities specializing in traditional Ayurveda. The Centre was founded by the Ayurvedic doctors Dr. V.P. Mohana Kumari, Ing. Cornelis Peters, and Vighnesh Maharaj. Together they form the inspirational driving force behind this centre.
 
Ayurveda has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a traditional medical science and has its origin in India. Ayurveda has a vast knowledge about herbal medicines and the preparation of herbs to treat a variety of illnesses. The herbal preparations that are used by the doctors are all growing and manufactured in this centre.
 
Ayurveda is a comprehensive natural health care system that originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. It is widely used in India as a system of primary health care, and interest in it is growing worldwide as well. Whereas Western allopathic medicine is excellent in handling acute medical crises, Ayurveda demonstrates an ability to manage chronic disorders that Western medicine has been unable to cure until now.
 
In his centre in Witharen, the Netherlands, he is specialized in traditional Ayurveda and Siddha medicines. The centre takes considerable effort to prepare tailor-made herbal preparations for its clients.
