Alan Yong, MBA
Alan Yong, MBA is the Founder and CEO of DNotes, a blockchain-powered digital currency and peer-to-peer payment system. He is an Author, Business Strategist, Best In Class Leader, Entrepreneur, Visionary, Technology & Computing Pioneer, and Blockchain SuperStar (NLTV).
Alan is committed to bringing the advantages of digital currency to everyday consumers by executing winning strategies that he has implemented and refined over his 45 year entrepreneurial career.
Alan has experience in nascent industries, having created the DTR, the world’s first personal tablet computer, in the early 1990’s as founder and CEO of Dauphin, a company best known for winning a $400m contract with the Pentagon and $150m manufacturing agreement with IBM. It subsequently developed a line of leading edge handheld computer, DTR, to compete head on with the Apple Newton which has evolved to be the iPhone today.
Alan is cofounder of Smokey’s Gardens, one of the largest daylily growers in the world. He took the company from startup to be one of the largest daylily growers in the world with over 3,000 cultivars and 5 million plants.
Since late 2013, Alan has repeatedly made his conviction known that digital currency will be the greatest technology revolution since the Internet. He wanted to realize his vision of a stable globally accepted digital currency. To do this, he cofounded an ecosystem centered on “DNotes”, a second generation Bitcoin alternative digital currency.
The DNotes-centric ecosystem includes DNotesVault, a web wallet where DNotes are securely stored, and a series of self-directed investment plans that encourage savings for different age demographics called CRISPS. The ecosystem also contains several currency-neutral web properties: Cryptomoms.com to encourage female participation in the industry, and DCEBrief — a news website that aims to inform industry stakeholders and provides executive summaries on all content for the benefit of time sensitive top-level management. DNotes has enjoyed substantial capital appreciation and is considered as the most stable digital currency among over 500 competitors.
Alan is outspoken in his belief that digital currency has the potential to facilitate instant global trade at near-zero cost, allow private citizens to act as their own bank, insulate private wealth from local political turmoil, and stabilize the world economy. Digital currency is about to become the greatest technological revolution since the internet.
Alan is the Author of the book, The Four Pillars of Business Success, a business book written to help entrepreneurs, business leaders, and managers learn to develop the strong foundation every business needs to be the best in its class.
Alan earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management in 1976 from Northern Illinois University. Here he developed a deep interest in business strategies and execution, large scale project planning and execution, human side of the enterprise, market research, and management by objectives.
