This is a good and useful list of the voting machines used around the country.
I like the way they are doing it here in Colorado. Basically scantron sheets so you have a human readable paper trail, but a fast machine readable way to do the count too.
The nice thing is that if you are worried a bout fraud you can vote and fill in all the circles, which invalidates your ballet and keeps anyone else from using it.
